For medical staff it's an amazing job

    Cons

    -No support from senior management.
-The company does not invest in marketing.Marketing is done reactively with no plan or strategy in place.
-There's a focus on keeping profit margins in detriment of investing the money back in the business.
    - Job description for marketing professionals are very deceptive and several have left shortly before joining due to the frustrations here stated
    -Terrible maternity leave
    -Extremely bureaucratic and political
    -Hight turnaround
-Founders are still heavily involved and head of departments don't have the authority and autonomy to bring change. Projects take years to finish, due to the huge number of stakeholders involved.

    Advice to Management

The founders need to trust the talent they hire so the business can change and keep up with the competition.
Senior management need to support the marketing team and invest in it

I have been working at International SOS full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Salary for Paramedics, travel, potential for advancement. Good management, diverse opportunities, if you do a good job you can go any where you want!

    Cons

Low cost travel, (back of the plane) depending on the office no retirement benefits, health care benefits not that great.

    Advice to Management

At least get an across the board matching 401, and a retirement pension for the few loyal employees that go the distance and stay with ISOS.
