I have been working at International Sports Management full-time

Pros

-High compensation potential
-Gained experience in communicating effectively with C-level executives
-Fun work environment with great co-workers
-Computers w/ CRM program
-Gained immense knowledge of different industries and how they function
-Opportunity to travel to some of the events

Cons

The office does get a bit cold sometimes.... especially during the wintertime.

Advice to Management

Keep it up.

    I have been working at International Sports Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There is a true concern over helping sales staff get a sale. Mentoring is constant. Ability to make a lot of money and get paid from your sales. Chance to talk with high level executives in corporations.

    Cons

    There can be a longer learning curve for some more than others. (I watched some of my peers struggle while I was able to make my first sale within two weeks.) Also, the research portion is not a lot of fun (of course!) but it is told up front as to what is expected and is very useful.

    Advice to Management

    Would like more recap on sales training sessions after we have them.

    Pros

    Young group, very beneficial if you are interested in cold call sales, people are all very nice to work with

    Cons

    Job posting of salary is very inaccurate, sales are extremely difficult, very low base pay, owner and manager are very stressed and try to use that to push salespeople, any tactics are used to sell like lies and fake deadlines

    Advice to Management

    Pay more for work put in, I didn't see you closing sales either
