I worked at Intrepid USA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None at all!!! The best pro was leaving this company

    Cons

Health benefits are very poor and very expensive; team support is poor; they expect the nurses to take on more than they can possibly handle; management is non-supportive and will walk out and leave you struggling at the end of a hard days work; seeing 8-9 patients a day and then they call and "tell" you to see 3 more?? A normal day is not 10-12 hours. It is more like 15-16 hours after paperwork is done. Training for new staff is very minimal and very confusing. If you ask three questions, you will get three different replies. They are always short staffed as the retention capability for nurses is very poor. Management pushes the nurses to reach "productivity" levels without the proper training or support.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better and hire more staff. You truly cannot expect a nurse to see 10 patients a day (plus drive time) and give quality care. If office staff work an extra 10 hours a week and are on salary, give them perks to retain them. No one likes to work for free.
