    I worked at Intuit full-time

    Pros

I've met some of my favorite people in the world working at Intuit. Coworkers are largely intelligent, passionate, and interesting people. Intuit provides outstanding benefits. And, on the whole, the company has a really strong long term strategy, with great products.

    Cons

All the great opportunities that Intuit provides seem to be unavailable to anyone not living in Mountain View. As the company has moved forward with their strategy, they've done so at the expense of work life balance. The norm is really long hours, and working weekends. For many, the result is sacrificing ones personal life for work life.

    Advice to Management

One of the core values is "It's the people". Part of living up to that value is having a good work life balance, so make that a priority.

    Pros

Worker bees are hard-working, despite unrealistic deadlines and lack of resources
Friday socials to keep morale up
On-campus fitness center with great trainers

    Cons

As a result of legacy technology and obvious finger pointing in the past, an unnecessary process has been implemented that hinders timely launches and causes extraneous work
Incompetent soft-skilled managers being promoted to supervisor a team

    Advice to Management

Thoroughly vet your senior management for people who don't qualify to be in those positions and bring on qualified candidates
