I worked at Intuit full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Good benefits
Good work life balance

Cons

Horrible support for immigrants, even if they have a Masters degree.
Green cards for immigrants are filed in EB3 which is a joke since it takes 12-15 years to get a Green card that way. Every other company in US files for GC using EB2, which is a faster process.
Lots of good engineers are leaving the company because of this

Somebody here said "Culture often rewards good talkers more than doers". Totally agree.
If you are good at talking, you will prosper, whether you can work or not.

Advice to Management

Change the Green card policy. Qualified engineers, who are immigrants do not want to join the company.

Focus on people who get the work done rather than who show fancy presentations.

-morale varies greatly between business units and locations

    Advice to Management

take a hard look at your Directors and VP's for those with a low say/do ratio and discipline accordingly. Especially in PD. Seek active feedback from their managers and frontline employees. Provide more transparency across the board. Live the values - don't just pay them lip service. Try to standardize on work experience, work/life balance, and morale across all BU's.
