    Pros

You get to work on products that everyone knows. It's nice being able to chat with local businesses or nieghbors about their experiences (good or bad).
    Fantastic company for work/life balance.
New CEO, Brad Smith, is making necessary changes and setting a new, intelligent course for the company. We haven't been growing as much as we should be, and Brad's direction will change that.
Excellent support for working on and considering your creative/innovative ideas. Most engineering groups get 20% of their time to work on a project of their creation. The company also runs one day competitions every month or two to provide another place for people to create new projects and get them visibility so they may get funded.

    Cons

If you're not at one of the major sites your upward movement is limited.
Company needs to get better at organic growth.

    Advice to Management

Now that employees are working so hard at coming up with new product/feature ideas, get it together on figuring which of them to staff/fund.

  2. "Strong company with potential, lacks new ideas."

    Pros

Feedback from direct managers has been excellent and the company does try to follow through on employee feedback.

    Cons

Total lack of exciting new product ideas.

You will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of fascinating products from payroll processing to state taxes!

    Advice to Management

Try to solve some brand new problems - create new markets! What in the world does social networking have to do with taxes? There is no good reason to link these two. What we need to focus on is creating an entirely new offering that will create a new market.
