    Pros

Great benefits and nice co-workers make this a great to work.
After work Friday socials, great on-site amenities, great home life/work life balance.

    Cons

Actually had a manager the group dubbed "little Hitler". This person had already lost an entire group after 50 people went to HR about him. But in the Disneyland that is Intuit, they simply hid him in the closet, and fed him an infinite series of buzz words, power point presentations, and removed all abilities to choose a direction. Then gave him anther group to torture. He now has worked his way to a cushy and useless role in the never ending HR/Workplace Solutions mess. This is the location of all people that have been assimilated into the Borg collective. The Director and VP are even worse.

    Advice to Management

Good luck with everthing. The direction ahs been chosen and and set in stone, no one has a vision to change it, without a complete overhaul of management.

    Pros

Intuit has great benefits and physical locations. It is a market leader in many areas of financial software and services and has great ideas about the future.

    Cons

Intuit will change strategies at least annually and organizational structures within departments two to three times each year. Radical changes in priorities are not worked out in fine detail and top management does not really seem to know how things get done or why they should be paid attention to; instead, the latest abstractions of a new strategy are used to justify some pretty tough changes.

    Advice to Management

How about working out details of changes ahead of time? Intuit likes to justify its changes on the basis of moving smart but the results are not good for many.
