Pros

The benefits are comprehensive. The salaries are competitive, but the total package is great. Our health plan options are second to none, we have a nice 401k plan. Our bonuses and stock plans are very nice as well. Generally the people here are easy to work with.

The company is fair. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of volunteering around the community and spending time with their families.

Cons

Some decisions and projects are over managed by too many people that do not understand the environment well enough to offer insightful help.

Advice to Management

Focus your efforts on removing barriers for teams to execute. If you want to get into the weeds, be willing to learn from the teams before offering solutions to problems that do not exist.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Benefits are outstanding. And senior management has vision and seems to know how to grow the business.

    Cons

Lots of lip service. They have something called an employee value proposition, which they use to sell you on how great the company is and then throughly ignore it.

    Advice to Management

Stop telling employees you are going to do one thing and then do another. A senior manager swore that they weren't hiring people in a cheaper part of the county to downsize jobs, and then turned around a laid people off 8 months later, but only the experienced competant employees in the more expensive area. They kept the cheap incompetant ones. Beware that Intuit downsizes regularly ever 2 to 3 years and they cut a significant amount of the work force.
