Pros

work life balance and low stress atmosphere.... 37.5 hour work weeks and 3 weeks vacation + 2 float holidays, 10 paid holidays, and 7 sick days starting on day one. Aim also has pretty good health benefits as well as 401k w/ 4% match and 6% MPP contribution each year. Also AIM likes to promote people from within.

Cons

salaries are way below market, unless your an analyst or portfolio manager. Raises are minimal, I have never received more that a 1-2% cost of living increase. Not much job stability, there have been four layoffs during my short four year tenure.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Invesco as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Good salary, not much stress, very good office (i.e. break room, canteen, gym)

    Cons

Was hired on suggestion that contract could be made permanent, found out after hiring that department was closing down. Systems are extremely out of date and hindering work. Hours are not great.

    Advice to Management

Be more open, invest more in improving processes.
