    Pros

    Cons

Not much room for upward mobility as a health coach. Most use role as stepping stone to professional school (PA, NP, RN, MD, etc.).

Great company values, but not all of management lives by them

    Pros

    - Pre pandemic there was lots of focus on training leaders and managers on how to be great ones and live by the values - Ability to grow different skill sets - Some GREAT leaders who truly empower others - Ability to collaborate with different teams from different departments

    Cons

    - No bonuses for salary workers or extra pay when working extra long hours, while still expected to work extra hours - Work, life, balance is no longer a priority, especially for smaller teams (highly overworked "the burnout" is real and almost encouraged) - Pay increase during review period is minimal and you are told the average rating is 2.5, 3.0, and maybe even a 3.5 even though the rating can go up to 5. You are discouraged from rating yourself a 5 (basically being great at your job). - HR is on management's side so come prepared with an entire thesis statement and 5 page essay with proof before telling them you or coworkers are being mistreated and even if you do, be cautious or maybe consider just finding a new job. - Pay is way below market average for certain roles - Lack of diversity within certain teams both in gender and in race, especially within leadership roles (except the sales team) - Managers and leaders who are there just because they can't afford to lose them vs being good at leading or empowering those who they manage
