Approves of CEO

Pros

Ipsos MORI is centered around dynamic, determined, enthusiastic market research professionals.
No two days are ever the same, with a continually changing flow of project and clients that bring fresh challenges and opportunities.
A great sense of honesty and integrity from the staff, the management and the company.
Senior management (including CEO - Ben Page) are very visible and accessible to all staff.

Cons

A lot of hard work and effort is needed for you to stand out from the crowd in Ipsos MORI.
The basic salary could be better - although flexible benefits package is good.

Advice to Management

Treat all employees equally. The back office and technical staff are often overlooked for recognition, progression, financially and fringe benefits in favour of the research staff.

    Pros

Great atmosphere - fun place to work
Senior management very visible and accessible
Some of the work very interesting
    Sense of honesty from management

    Cons

Expect a lot from junior staff (hours/responsibility) but pay doesn't match with that
Sometimes too much donkey work given to junior staff (recognise that they make an effort to avoid this - I used to work at BMRB where this was MUCH worse)

    Advice to Management

Continue honest and accessible approach, sense of fun in the workplace
Think more about how to incentivise and retain good junior staff

    Pros

In my department and function there's a good amount of flexibility to work from home. People are helpful and willing to assist when asked. There's a lot of knowledge in the company so a great place to learn and grow.

    Cons

Not a very social culture so if that matters to an individual, it's a challenge. It can be a little isolating.
