Disapproves of CEO

Pros

-Really nice coworkers
-Mostly competent people
-Can come in at 9am instead of 8am
-Decent benefits
-Free bagels once a month

Cons

-overly micro-managed
-boring, repetetive tasks
-nobody leaves before 7pm
-tight arbitrary deadlines
-alternate between over-worked and nothing to do
-no client interaction
-too much detail-checking, not enough big-picture stuff
-zero creativity involved
-blanket promotions allow the wrong people to become managers
-really high turn-over
-no work-life balance
-very political- all depents on whims of sr. manager
-some people can get away with murder, while others (me) are micro-managed to death

Advice to Management

Treat people in entry-level positions like intelligent human beings. We are not machines, who can just check numbers for 10 hrs a day.
