Frustrating at times

I enjoy how diverse the team is, for once in my entire career I don't have to deal with microaggressions! Sad, but definitely a pro of the teams I've worked with. I like the opportunities I've been given but a lack of dependable folk actually advocating my goals towards promotion have entirely fallen off.
Cons
Promoting/review system in place that's really just there leading you to burnout or leave you super frustrated. A whole lot of not prioritizing the right people and VERY poor boundaries with work life especially if you are a people pleaser. but if you're not a people pleaser they still won't recognize your hard work. Transparency is something they say they care about but then you'll quickly notice there's clusters of hush-hush and everyone is secretly doing their own thing.

Pros
Easy job. I had a lot of time to enjoy my summer while staying engaged with internship work. The position was remote but there was an in-person option. Great team and flexibility. You could ask to work on almost any team and help with their projects.
Cons
The recruiting process was odd. It felt as though they made the position for me rather than there being a specific spot I was applying for.
