          Pros

This job will definitely humble you. If you think you're good at something, they will tell you where it needs work. Definitely a potential to make alot of money, but you will do nothing but work and sleep for the next 7 years, minimum, before you see any real fruit. If you're ok with that, by all means, go for it.

          Cons

Zero work-life balance. You work about 65 hours a week. When you get promoted, that increases to 75 hours a week. When you train new recruits, they get part of your commission, so you better be really really good at what you do. You need at least $5,000 in savings if you live alone. You won't get paid for the first 3 weeks and even if you do really really well like the top reps, bringing in ~1800/wk, you only average about $20/hr. Not that great if you ask me. If you have no life, no friends, and no commitment to anything else and don't care that you aren't really making that much, you might just be successful in 7 years. It is definitely a multi-level marketing scheme. The money IS real and so are the people. However, it is just very hard to come by, especially if you suck. You are not permitted to have a bad attitude so if you're prone to getting down at a lack of results, don't go. The CEO is a very nice lady; intense, but nice. She cares about your success and she will work with you. It's just very difficult to keep yourself motivated when you have trouble even paying for the gas to get there.

        Account Manager

Applying for 2 internal promotion positions within the same company each in a different state in the US. Should you mention this while in the interview stages of both positions?

Was told by an company I was interviewing with I would hear back from them the first week of December. The last time we spoke was before Thanksgiving, as I'm trying to respect their decision-making process. Should I reach out again now that we're closer to the date?

When negotiating salary over the phone, can you mention that you know what the salary is for the position you're applying for? E.g. I know people at the company I'm interviewing for in the exact level that I would be in who are making about 15k more than what I am expecting to be offered. Can I say, "I know Managers at this firm make xyz so I would like to be close to that number"
