Pay and benefits are reasonable.

Lower management employees are treated with disrespect on a daily basis in an effort to improve performance or quality of service, and initiative is not appreciated.

Advice to Management

The job is stressful enough without account and office managers scolding employees.

    Pros

JBH is a strong company and will probably be around for years to come. Work life balance is ok to good and a couple of the IT managers are good people with good ethics and morals.

    Cons

Senior management focuses on what benefits them, not necessarily the company. This lack of leadership and ethical standards has fostered a layer of managers that would not last long in a normal workplace. Some of the sharpest technical people have left the company for the sole reason of poor management.

    Advice to Management

People are a company's most valuable asset. I think the CIO has lost touch with the day to day workings of the IT department and doesn't see the downturn occuring.

    Pros

Great company who is fair with management and respectful to employees.

    Cons

It is hard to get promoted from Account Manager level.

    Advice to Management

Increase developmental opportunities and relationships to grow customers and increase promotional opportunities and cross training enhancements.
