    I worked at J. C. Penney full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The pay is fair for the supervisors and managers.

    Cons

Changes since Ron Johnson has become CEO. It is a shame to see the way the associates are treated today!

    Advice to Management

Get back to the every day basics. JCPenney was the Golden Rule Store. This company doesn't have the same morals as years before!

    I worked at J. C. Penney part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours, incredibly friendly supervisors.

    Cons

Lack of direction and consistency from corporate level. LP guidelines put burden of risk on employee, while employer expects results but legally keeps their hands clean.

    Advice to Management

Develop and maintain procedures that apply across the board. Share burden of risk with LP employees, or back off of expected results.
