I worked at J. Crew part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great perks and promotions for all employees. Once of the best that I am aware of. Very fun retail sales position. Employees armed with lots of customer service loyalties to provide to customers, giving them lots of power with their customers.

Cons

Low paying @ sales associate level.

    there was a long on boarding process. low pay...weird hours sometimes

    Pros

    Relaxed atmosphere was very easy to get comfortable in. Dress code is basically J.Crew clothes so that's not really a problem, but it can get expensive quick, even with the great discount.

    Cons

    Monotonous retail can make you cry unless you make friends fast. Constantly putting away clothes and dealing with ridiculous people are always terrible at retail jobs.

    Advice to Management

    Don't sound so elitist when talking to people, or it could just be me that finds it annoying.
