    Approves of CEO

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Truly believes in career mobility and senior management genuinely understand that talent is their most important asset. Good CEO and senior management team. Relatively good job security given current market conditions.

    Cons

Low pay in comparison to the industry. Do not appropriately reward high rated employees that are loyal to the organization. The best option to earn a market competitive salary is to leave the firm to work for another. Lastly, every firm is having to cope with a sizeable amount of regulatory change, but getting swift and decisive action is difficult in a firm this size. They tend to project manage everything to death and expect way too much given allocated resources.

    Advice to Management

Be careful on the amount of cut-backs. The firm has become way too top heavy and cutting resources from operations groups are causing a real strain on morale. Cutting one low level operations person making entry level wages should not be considered the same as cutting a senior manager.
