I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are always great opportunities to network with colleagues and volunteer to help not-for-profit organizations. With your corporate ID, you also get in for free or reduced cost to many museums and cultural institutions.

Many managers are open to your working from home when you need to (as long as you are completely connected).

After you've spent at least a year in one role, you can move to something else -- through mobility.

    Cons

Long hours, high stress, overworked teams without enough members.

The interranking process is painful and results in team members fighting against one another instead of working together to create a better organization.

    Too many conference calls!

    Advice to Management

If teams are understaffed, people can't think clearly and important stuff gets missed. Hire workers who can solve problems not managers who just create more bureaucracy.
