No opinion of CEO

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Early innovator and calculated risk taking in technology functions. Opportunities to shine in managerial and technical roles.

Cons

Having to distinguish high performers from the 'wannabees' and disingenuous types. Pockets of dysfunctional and decaying hierarchies, and possibility of getting marooned in one of them.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very big company with lots of opportunities
    Pretty good work environment
Flat hierarchy, which means you don't have too many levels (starts from Team Member to CEO, about 9 Levels)
    Decent pay master

    Cons

Does have a lot of opportunities, but at times they look for very weird combinations
If you are an MBA from the second rung B-Schools,expect yourself to be end up in MIS kind of roles.
If you are a techie, ensure that you have a technical manager during the interview.
Not the best pay master, Morgan Stanley, Nomura, DBOI, etc. pay much better
One important thing, J.P.Morgan Chase & Co. is basically J.P. Morgan and Chase who are very different in their approach and have very different work environments as well. Chase is more open and friendlier than J.P.Morgan side.
