Opportunities for new job roles; "do the right thing" culture; respected in the industry; complex environement with many opportunities to learn

Cons

Siloed departments; difficulty receiving exposure to upper levels of management; lack of organizational focus on developing talented individuals at lower and mid-management level

Columbus is a major HUB for JPMC employees, and there are many talented lower and middle level managers who are overlooked when opportunities for advancement arise. Management should seek opportunities to focus more on the identication, development and advancement of these talented individuals.

    Pros

it is not too many good reasons to work at Chase. it's good a place to start your career without any education. Base salary is very low. You have to work a lot to get some money from commission

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    big company, stable, known brand

    Cons

Horrible bureaucracy makes this place a living hell, extremely intense workload, no work-life balance. Expect to work long hours and weekends. Don't expect any significant salary increases at the end of year. It's a never ending race to complete more projects, with less people, in shorter time, even at the cost of project quality and high people turnover.

    Advice to Management

Need to improve work-life balance, reduce Bureaucracy around processes, GTI engagement and Change Management. Must improve the year-end incentives and salary raises for high-performers to retain talent.
