I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Global, stable company, diverse career paths within company

Cons

Modern day slavery, very little pay, expect 24 hours from you in an 8 hour day, too much politics and lies from the top of management on down, no reward for hard work all year especialy if you are in an IT support role level 1, 2, and 3

Advice to Management

Give employees an opportunity to be certified and work hard and reward them for working hard and you will retain the best but failure to do so and you will get the bare minimum performance until they quit and find an employer who will.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Build great client relationships
    Brand name recognition
    Decent benefits/perks
    Glass office
    Working toilet

    Cons

Each year, the comp plan is getting cut. Funny how senior management always try to have you drink the kool-aid and say it is for the better. I am sick of hearing about "customer experience." The company does not give a crap about its employees. Retail employees are expected to take it in the ass from customers with a smile while collecting a below market salary. I feel overworked each and everyday while my pay is continuously getting cut.

    Advice to Management

You are delusional about what goes on daily at the branch level. It is easy to make decisions from HQ. Pay serious attention to hard working employees and boost employee morale. Stop putting up a facade of caring for employee satisfaction when in reality, you are just blowing smoke.
