Pros

Good pay and bonuses if you are a top performer. Otherwise the bonuses are very small. Management is hit or miss either great or horrible.

Cons

As stated in the Pros, bonuses are very small for most people. If you get stuck with a bad manager then you are stuck there is not much you can do.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They try to be flexible with work from home.

    Cons

The benefits are sub-par. Health insurance is not very good. Deductible is extremely high.
The corporate structure is enormous; there are at least 15 people above you. It is difficult to be promoted or receive a generous pay raise/bonus, unless you are in the upper echelons of the firm. To get up there, you have to really step on other people's faces.
I'm not sure about other departments, but in mine, there is a definite do as you're told mentality.
Lots of focus on documentation and red tape; expect to work more on that than actual work.

Advice? Get in, do the work, get the experience, move on.

    Advice to Management

Streamline all the documentation and cut the clutter. Allow your employees to focus on real work, and pay them accordingly.
