Pros

- CLDP is a great program with appropriate oversight and guidance from program managers, but with the ability to work hard/smart and make a name for yourself

Cons

- Potential in the fulltime position equivalent to work long hours
- Travel (if that is a con for you)

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Culture, training, and deal experience are all great aspects of working for J.P. Morgan. Bonus compensation is variable but topped the street for associates this year.

    Cons

Work-life balance is the first sacrifice of working for any bulge bracket institution but group placement plays a huge role in total hours worked.

    Advice to Management

Senior level bankers simultaneously wonder why there is so much junior level turnover and continually push projects to the last minute at the cost of the analysts and associates. As the banking industry changes so too must the work patterns of the hierarchy.
