"Good company with lots of opportunities"

Pros

Global company with lots of business lines and avenues to build your career. Excellent benefits package and educational opportunities within organization.

Cons

Very top heavy. Espouses work/life balance but expects 24/7 availability. Very disparate compensation program with large salary deltas within a position or title. Promotion compensation schedule is not on par with culture messages.

Advice to Management

Standardize compensation program and made grade levels and salaries available to employees.

    Pros

None really. One or two nice people.

    Cons

HR hires very unqualified people who sit around and gossip all day. HR leaders are incredibly biased and immature. Management and hiring decisions are awful, no wonder such a high turnover rate. If you're not a broker or a semi good looking idiot girl they don't care about you. Discriminatory workplace as well, lots of republicans voicing their frustrations with democrats and underprivileged races. They work you very hard and treat you like garbage.

    Advice to Management

    Revamp everything.

I worked at JLL full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Smart colleagues, global businesses with some opportunity for cross-border work.

    Cons

Senior management is comprised of a small group of long-term white middle-aged men executives who rotate through senior leadership roles every few years. The firm could use some new blood from outside (not just someone (aka older white guy) joining through an acquisition). Most senior women managers are in the typical roles HR, Marketing and they are not viewed as power brokers. Very little diversity in senior leadership - it is a middle-aged white boys club. Compensation is low for non-broker employees as compared to market and 24/7 availability is expected despite the "work-life balance" sales pitch to new and potential employees.

    Advice to Management

Bring in some new managers with new ideas to make the firm live up to the promises made to prospective employees. Provide opportunities for growth to women and minorities - try to live the diversity policy instead of just talking about it.
