I have been working at JPS Health Network full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Opportunities to see lots of illnesses and conditions. Always have open shifts. Hospital capabilities are high. Plenty of nice people to work around.

    Cons

Overcrowded, filthy. High nurse:patient ratios. Unsafe care. Staffing is always a problem, but patient load never really falls. Graduate nurse residency program is a joke and the leader is awful.

I have been working at JPS Health Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

This position has a lot of learning and changing responsibilities. You have to be flexible and roll with the punches.

    Cons

Some of the politics of the office can be over baring.
