I worked at Jack in the Box full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Decent Compensation. Corporate buildings are nice. Some of the people are great to work with.

Cons

The re-structure is ruining the company. It's become a high school clique of an environment. They used to be in the industry leader and now they are followers. Absolutely do not take care of long term employees.

Advice to Management

Don't run the company like a big gas company.

I have been working at Jack in the Box part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Each division of labor is pretty simple, when it comes to Drive-thru, Front Counter, Fryer, Grill and can mater these individual jobs in a month time. If you are young and there are a bunch of young people that work there then it can be enjoyable.

    Cons

Hot near the Grill and Fryer, some of the customers can be.... well lets just say less respectable cause you are a kid, depending on the location you work the managers can sometimes be very under-qualified to be in any management position.

    Advice to Management

Insure that management is thoroughly trained to deal with customers and employees.

I worked at Jack in the Box full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Growth opportunity is decent, Management Pay is ok, new initiatives all the time.

    Cons

Downsizing, Franchising, Cutting cost, POOR LABOR, poor communication from senior management. High expectations, low appreciation.

    Advice to Management

Value restaurant employees. Restaurant is where everything is happening, your worst decisions becomes nightmares at restaurant level. There is a slavery going on at restaurants.
