I have been working at Jackson National Life full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

They are trying to switch to agile.

    Cons

Promotions, raises, and bonus are based off of project work, but you dont get say in what projects you are on to try to get them. Managers also have no clue or say in how bonuses are figured out. Managers are not there to help you advance your career, most of them are too technically involved in projects, that you might not even be part of, to care about even fully filling out your annual review. There is a... business casual dress code, that most companies are trying to get away from for the tech side, Jackson is making sure to keep it business casual. You have to track your time in a minimum of 2 different systems. They have not yet figured out a way to integrate the 2 to make the associates live easier. There are certain vice presidents that will not listen to reason when they have a dumb idea, or will intentionally block process until it is to late and they can get their way.
