I worked at Jackson National Life full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Benefits, PTO and annual bonus

    Cons

Work life balance is not there if you work in the Call Center. Shift bids are done every 6 months. If you are in operations for more than 2 years, it's nearly impossible to get out and transition to another department.

I worked at Jackson National Life full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Hardworking colleagues -Desire to be more innovative -Good people -Executive team is solid

    Cons

-Rigid, uptight culture - very rules based -Company hires too many micro managers, not enough leaders to develop employees -Heavily regulated, so creativity and innovation are not easy or even possible sometimes

    Advice to Management

Loosen up, hire for leadership - not management experience, offer more flexible opportunities for family oriented employees. The overall direction of the company is good, but the culture does not encourage new ideas or creativity, which will hold you back.
