Pros

Well, what can I say. There are None.

Cons

Quite possibly the worst place you could take a job. Unstructured, disorganized, micromanaged, all in all a disaster of a place. Save yourself, look for a job elsewhere.

As tough as it is to run a small business in California (or really anywhere) and find good people, these are the types of reviews that really serve no purpose. This really doesn't serve the company (obviously your intention) OR anyone looking for a job. Unfortunately, this kind of review just shows that the employee was most likely let go and now just angry. Since there is really nothing of any substance here, frankly there is no reason to believe this person actually ever worked for Jacob Tyler. Please take a moment to help the company do better. How is the company unstructured and disorganized? How were you micromanaged? What department did you report to? Once voted one of the best places to work by San Diego Business Journal, how is the company a "disaster of a place"? How long were you employed at the company? What can the company do to improve culture and the work environment? Feel free to state your first name as well so the company (and potential employees) can be assured that you were employed within the organization. I do personally apologize that your experience was not positive. Sincerely, Les Kollegian

Pros

JT has an engaging and collaborative atmosphere, the moment you start your expertise are utilized and leveraged to help the organization continue to grow. - Great and friendly staff - Friendly family-like culture - Fun and energetic - Really talented people across all departments - It's OK to be an Individual - Everyone exhibits the drive to succeed - Open knowledge sharing cross-department - Opportunity to grow and be promoted according to your own pace

Cons

Fast-paced, which sometimes would mean long hours and late nights in order to meet client deadlines, but if those are negatives for you...maybe you shouldn't consider agency life?

Pros

At it's core, Jacob Tyler provides an entrepreneurial spirit and makes for a good opportunity for those driven to do more. At Jacob Tyler, employees are able to take ownership in not only their work but the agency itself. No matter your role, rank, or tenure, every team member has a voice and is encouraged to bring new ideas to the table.

Cons

With 16-years in the industry, Jacob Tyler has been able to keep a start-up mentality. For the right folks this is beneficial, however it can present a challenge for those seeking to coast. The opportunity to grow and evolve the agency is ever present and it requires the right individuals with the drive to succeed.
