Pros

Office space rented after an architecture firm left, which makes for a great space.

Cons

Upper management has literally said they are "winging it" when it comes to running an agency. No organization and absolutely no risk taking, which makes it very difficult to truly be creative.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience at Jacob Tyler. We had definitely made a lot of mistakes in the past trying to grow the agency... Perhaps a little too fast. As we have now restructured the company and removed areas that were ineffective, we have become a much stronger team... Both culturally and in experience. The company and team is the best it has been in 15 years... Feel free to stop by and take a look at our new space and chat with the team. Not sure what you mean about Don Draper but yes I did enjoy the show Mad Men.

Pros

JT has an engaging and collaborative atmosphere, the moment you start your expertise are utilized and leveraged to help the organization continue to grow. - Great and friendly staff - Friendly family-like culture - Fun and energetic - Really talented people across all departments - It's OK to be an Individual - Everyone exhibits the drive to succeed - Open knowledge sharing cross-department - Opportunity to grow and be promoted according to your own pace

Cons

Fast-paced, which sometimes would mean long hours and late nights in order to meet client deadlines, but if those are negatives for you...maybe you shouldn't consider agency life?

Pros

At it's core, Jacob Tyler provides an entrepreneurial spirit and makes for a good opportunity for those driven to do more. At Jacob Tyler, employees are able to take ownership in not only their work but the agency itself. No matter your role, rank, or tenure, every team member has a voice and is encouraged to bring new ideas to the table.

Cons

With 16-years in the industry, Jacob Tyler has been able to keep a start-up mentality. For the right folks this is beneficial, however it can present a challenge for those seeking to coast. The opportunity to grow and evolve the agency is ever present and it requires the right individuals with the drive to succeed.
