I worked at Jefferson County Schools for less than a year

    Pros

Get the same days off and vacations as the students; working with the students

    Cons

Was working there when my mother was taken ill and dying, so had to take more time off than I would've liked to, but it was necessary. Was under an enormous amount of stress, yet there was no empathy whatsoever from the school principal.

    Advice to Management

Realize that sometimes in life, things happen to employees that are beyond their control, and that family comes first.
