Pros

The hour lunch was really the only good thing. Also you only worked monday thru friday with your day ending at 430. So very good work hours.

Cons

Poor leadership. Very disorganized. NOT GETTING PAID ON PAYDAY. Lots of gossip and petty tattletelling about anything. Very unproffessional work environment.

I have been working at JenCare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interactions with people (if you are a people person)
Free food and snacks (clients only) employees will be punished if caught eating snacks

    Cons

Layoffs are everywhere and daily! JenCare/ChenMed rolled out a new business model...it lasted a month. All those that were hired were then FIRED - BUT the company made sure it was in the time frame so you couldn't file for unemployment benefits. This is definitely a smoke and mirrors company and a wolf in sheep's clothing. Stay AWAY- FAR AWAY and that goes for any loved ones as well.

    Advice to Management

Those who rise too quickly fall just as quick! Pay very very close attention to retention of employees (at least those you don't fire) speaking directly of center managers, sales managers, regional and on up- lots of fluff and stuff...meaning not a great deal of substance. Try doing a survey to employees in each department of job satisfaction as well as management satisfaction. I guarantee you will find a great disparity. It's not always about numbers (although that is your bread and butter) Fire your management not those doing ALL THE WORK TO GET YOU CLIENTS as well as keeping them. Who do you want...happier many which then leads to happier clients OR happy management (1 or 2 people) and your bread and butter continues to walk out the door. Trust me- easy to replace a management member than 100-300 clients and 20- 30 staff members. BE SMART...I know the intelligence is in there-USE IT!!!

    Pros

To help those that need help.

    Cons

All about the dollar. The owners are family and not proactive in change. Unaware of what is happening as they are located in Miami...blind to local management.

    Advice to Management

Poor benefits and time to take care of self and family! And you call yourself a family oriented health care company?? I think not!
