Pros

The information for industry and professional knowledge is great. Working with clients is great.

Cons

Annual total of base plus commission is very, very low. Employee moral low. Co-workers are frustrated and sometimes treat each other disrespectfully because of their frustrations. High turnover.

    -interacting with clients, helping them make positive life changes
    -working as a team within centre toward common goals
    -learning strong sales and motivational interviewing skills
    -good place to work if you are a "people person"

    Cons

    -huge disconnect between front line employees and upper management
    -trainings treat employees like they are children
    -lack of respect for and lack of decent pay for entry level employees leads to high turnover

    Advice to Management

    I have worked for this company for years and have seen a disturbing trend of upper level managers being more and more removed from the field, and increasingly out of touch with front line employees. This is leading to a perception of less respect for lower level employees who are the backbone of this business. Consultants are the face of this company and they are not shown respect, both through attitude and by poor pay.
