    I have been working at Jive Software full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    Lots of passionate, dedicated and eager individuals who work very hard.

    Cons

    I have been working here for 3+ years and at first, it was awesome. It now has sadly turned for the worst. When you treat customer cases as a product down a factory line, what you receive is most who cheat the system and bloat their numbers; which should be no surprise because this is what management is encouraging. There are a couple who are true, but they are rare and end up paying for it by having to work longer hours....

    Advice to Management

    Sadly, there is nothing management can do, because the truth is, Jive is in a really difficult spot. A reasonable profit that could calm the investors does not look to be in the foreseeable future, resulting in being further understaffed, and working insane hours even further leading to even less sleep. I have lost confidence in management, who I think does not understand or can't afford to understand what customer success...

    Certain roles pay very well.

    Cons

    Worksmart - they will track time spent in different applications, keystrokes, take pictures with your webcam. Some managers barely use it, but don't be surprised if in a weekly 1-1 you have to answer questions like, "why did you spend 3 hours more than the team average in X application?" While they claim to expect nor more, nor less, than 40 hours per week of actual work, you will end up working far more than that. That's...

    Management below SVP level - keep your resumes updated. It is Aurea, after all. To management above the SVP level - copying other companies and their products have worked so far, why not copy how those companies treat employees? their work culture?
