Pros

Exciting technology, rapidly-growing market, superior product, fast-paced start-up. The Jobvite product is undoubtedly the best in the business. Jobvite is a venture-backed company that has built an on-demand, "SaaS" enterprise recruiting solution that is an elegant and cost compelling tool for an under-serviced SME market.

Cons

Located in the City, which is either a plus or a minus, depending on your commute. If you live in the City, this is a promising and exciting start-up, and a great place to work. Smart people, great culture.

Advice to Management

Carpe Diem.

I worked at Jobvite as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Got to wear a ton of different hats.
    - Positive work environment, overall friendly culture.
    - Dynamic, get to see the tangible results of your work as opposed to being a cog in the wheel of a more prominent company.
    - Very inclusive, I got to sit in on many high-level meetings, and no one batted an eye about my involvement.
    - Great amenities and office space. Jobvite takes excellent care of their employees!

    Cons

    - Somewhat unorganized, no structured internship program. Very much an experience that depends on what you put into it.
    - Low pay. McDonald's across the street has a better base payment, but maximizing compensation shouldn't be the motivation of this internship.

I worked at Jobvite full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people, nice kitchen fully stocked.

    Cons

Location is tough commute unless you live somewhat local. Benefits are not great. Working remotely not an option. Zero career growth possibilities unless you're a guy. Company is way behind others in this area for employee benefits and culture. NOT a place for women looking for career growth

    Advice to Management

Wake up - the high employee turnover is going to get worse unless you make an effor to offer comparable benefits. Hire or promote some WOMEN - Jobvite is a textbook example of sexism in Silicon Valley - all men in Exec Management team and seems like only guys get promoted or hired in leadership positions- why not try to promote Jobvite as being supportive of women? You might stop having so many people leave. The number of people who have left so far is a source of worry for those who remain
