I have been working at Johns Hopkins University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Well known, top tier hospital. World renowned experts in many fields. Looks good on your resume.

    Cons

Even in the research areas, more consideration is given to MDs than Ph.Ds. Postdoc pay is lousy. Bureaucracy is high.

    Advice to Management

Read a management book or two. Give perks to deserving employees. Build a collaborative atmosphere.
