I worked at Johnson Controls full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good people and interesting business model

    Cons

My boss was not a leader and viewed everything as a political move. Micromanaged without ever describing the big picture. Misrepresented the job during the interview process. Was eager to share how much value they added to the company, and how great they were at performing their job, but always had unkind words to say about nearly everyone at the plant.

    Advice to Management

You need leadership in your plants, not dictators. A true leader develops and encourages those around them, while a dictator finds a way to amplify mistakes of others as a means to demonstrate their own value.
