I have been working at Johnson Controls full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

If you're in need of money, the pay is good to start and you have access to ALL the overtime you could possibly want. The benefits are great, company stock usually does very well and there are a LOT of employee discount programs, including vehicles

Cons

The plant where I work is very unorganized as far as how well they manage the inventory for spare parts for machines, some of the simplest least expensive things can be out of stock when you need them, making your job unnecessarily harder, also the training program needs some work and there needs to be a program for tuition reimbursement for floor workers to advance their careers...strangely there is one for the people in the office (most of which have to already have some college to be IN the office) but the floor people are on their own in this area

Advice to Management

Train people better, keep parts in stock and it gets 5 stars

I have been working at Johnson Controls full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay scale seems fare for the work needs

    Cons

GWS provides an isolated, lonely experience. No opportunity to move within the company, unless there's an opportunity to move within your established account.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees, like employees not just revenue generators.
