I have been working at Johnson Controls as an intern (More than a year)

Pros

Great People, Great environment, knowledge people. The products are cool and the technology is up to the date. worked in the AE department for 2 years within different teams. all the managers I had are great great people.

Cons

procedure is slow. It takes too long to process anything. JCI is trying to get out the AE department and I think this is just a bad idea. Some people dont fit the corporate culture but I think it is more about their problem.

I worked at Johnson Controls full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, good honest day to day employees

    Cons

Company tends to treat employees like a number. A lot of pressure to sell to make an unattainable sales goal. Corporate directives interfere with field business and are communicated as mandates. Unhappy employees, scared if they will lose their job.

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to provide quality support to the field, improve communcations, don't forget the human side of the business.
