I worked at Johnson & Johnson as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

You learn a great deal that can be applied for your personal use and professional. Co-op program was structured very well. Everything about working for a company like J&J is fun.

Cons

Sometimes you may have to work longer than the expected hours, but you are treated like a regular employee so you should expect to.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Johnson & Johnson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

After a few years of publicized questionable responses to their QA issues, the company is starting to take stride again in gaining market share in their industries. The people are generally talented and do strong work.

    Cons

They tend to undervalue their field workers. Management can treat issues with knee jerk reactions and not take time to understand the daily challenges in the field. Taking a more collaborative approach to sales and marketing would be a huge benefit.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to understand what your field agents are seeing daily in their markets and get support from multiple departments to address the issues.
