I worked at Johnson & Johnson as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

I was very excited to gain employment with J&J because it is a highly coveted company. While I was there, I met some of the sharpest people I've ever known. The training was fantastic and I was given the opportunity to work closely with my clients across the East coast. I was compensated very well.

    Cons

The work-life balance is terrible. The amount of work expected of each employee is unrealistic, and in order to keep up with it, a minimum of 60 hours a week was needed.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to do a better job of managing the work load for each of it's employees. And understand that an unhealthy work/life balance can and will cause good employees to leave. My health is a lot more important than a big paycheck.
