I have been working at Johnson & Wales University part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

An intimate campus giving rise to memories of days when education was not a factory but an individually selected experience. Teaching at JWU allows contact with each student to be ultimately the more significant relationship. Faculty truly puts students first and works to encourage all to excell. It is the reward of being involved and making a difference.

    Cons

To me the only downside is in being an Adjunct and not a full professor. Wishing that I had stayed on the course in being an educator instead of selecting to be a businessman.

    Advice to Management

Management has always seemed to place students interest first. My only advice is to recognize that trimesters do not afford the opportunity to truly explore course materials.

    Pros

You get to impact whether a student chooses JWU as their college.

    Cons

Security meant only basic excel files instead of the originally planned sql database.

    Advice to Management

You need to let my successor have some access to a database to store the info.
