      Pros

It's still small enough that most folks are wearing a lot of hats. I enjoy that type of work environment. Small enough where we can get stuff done without too much bureaucratic barriers. But established enough as a company and a platform that we are selling a great product and the company does provide benefits etc.

      Cons

Some could see the start up nature / size of the company as a con. Not everyone thrives in a smaller environment.

        Pros

Jointly is one of the most welcoming and friendly working environments I've ever worked in. Everyone works really hard and enjoys what we do.

        Cons

Hard to find anything. Startup environment is not for everyone.

          Pros

Some of the employees are nice people.

          Cons

I was a part of the product team there so keep that in mind. - mediocre salary with the expectation to work 10+ hours a day. The head of product (CPO) would meet with me at 5pm and wanted something done for the next morning .... one of the most egotistical people that you'll meet and he has absolutely no idea how to manage people - micromanaged everybody and was not afraid to be straight up disrespectful to you (this did not only happen to me). Also, the only opinion he valued was his own. There was no collaboration. - The founder painted this image before I joined that everyone is a family and that everyone is just one big happy team. Far from the truth. I saw people come and go in the 3 months that I worked there. like I said, they hire to fire based on their short term needs. - I was let go right before my upcoming PTO (no coincidence) without any warnings or any signs of under performance.

        Interview Tips

Feel free to post any interview questions you might be asked and I’ll help you compose an effective response :)

        Senior Resource Manager

Last Thursday and Friday I interviewed with 2 hiring managers for 2 different companies. Both of them said they’d like me to progress to the next interview and the recruiter would reach out. One company said they wanted a offer out this month so it would be a quick process. I sent thank you emails and references. I haven’t heard from either recruiter. I had the recruiter screening and hiring manager interview just days apart, I thought I’d hear back by now. Thoughts?!

        Underwriting Support Specialist

Underwriter 1 commercial line posted salary $45k-75k, I am aiming for at least 65k. No degree or designations, currently p&c licensed with 4 years of insurance. Is my goal too high? How should I go about negotiating my salary?

        Program Manager

Just heard that some companies are going to start paying people for their time if they are asking you to do a presentation or something! Does anyone think this will become a thing?
