I worked at Judicial Council of California full-time

    Pros

There are great people at this agency. It's collaborative. You work on more than one project at a time so boredom is not an issue. Majority of work is done with people outside your building.

    Cons

Political. Bureaucratic. The trick is to get on with a good manager who can isolate you from the political nonsense and let you do your job.

    Advice to Management

Get out of the way and let the people who do the work do the work.
