I have been working at Judicial Council of California full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The leadership is trying to turn the ship, slow and steady, but bringing in some much needed oversight and aligning the agency with other state government practices. Leadership is also trying to build a rapport with the courts, bridging the gap in the branch - trying to unite the front. Valiant, much appreciated effort from where I sit.

    Cons

A lot of resistance to change throughout office culture, but with every change naysayers there's definitely an advocate (or two). Align with the forwarding facing crowd and you will succeed.

    Advice to Management

Bring HR up to speed on supporting management, middle/front-line management is left exposed and seemingly unsupported at times.
