I worked at Judicial Council of California for more than 8 years

    Pros

Benefits, ultimate mission is access to justice. Many units make a difference in access to justice directly. Working with judges and justices who are often very smart and highly motivated colleagues.

    Cons

Limited internal advancement. No oversight on management who often is poorly equipped to manage or actually discriminatory and misguided in their efforts. Not unionized.
