I have been working at Juniper Networks (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Juniper has had some really good products and their customer base is very broad
Still a lot of great people here, lots to learn
    core products are great

    Cons

Sr. Management top heavy org chart, feels like some empire building
lots of reorganizations in the divisions, frustrating to deal with frequent changes
    acquisitions are poorly handled
down turn in service provider spending is hurting the company

    Advice to Management

return to engineering roots and become an agile company again. Being a big company doesn't mean you have to be slow and unresponsive. Too many managers are looking to find things to manage so it's creating a lot of bureaucracy and it's driving away some of the top contributors and innovators. We don't feel like a company in a lead position any longer, we need to put more time and effort into innovation.
