    Pros

Juniper had, and some pockets within the company still do, a culture of innovation. I know a lot of fun, intelligent people there.

    Cons

Of late, curmudgeons from dithering companies have come into the company esp. in the mgmt. The worst of the lot are these senior managers from Extreme. There they did a piss poor of the business; and they have brought that political, reward suck-ups, little league coach mentality to Juniper too. They spend more time correcting the tense/grammar in product presentations and choosing names of programs, than on what we do as a business.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of these losers from Extreme that have somehow been hired into the the company. Weak choice and will make the company fractious and ineffective.

"Time to leave, before the JUNOS transformation bull**** hits the fan"

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Good life/work balance - the code development branch is locked all the time, gives employees plenty of time to goof off

    Cons

Promotions are impossible unless you threaten to leave
No bonus this year (well, maybe other people think a 4% annual bonus is a
    'bonus')
    Innovation is non-existent
This whole JUNOS transformation thing is going to be so painful I don't want to be around when that cascade of disasters hits

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees bonuses for their hard work
Promote from within - none of this hire people from outside mentality - I feel existing employees are never going to be promoted anymore
