    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Juniper Networks full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pays well, good benefits, somewhat empowered. Good facilities and tools

    Cons

PLM did not know the business and could not make decisions, indecisiveness led to wasted efforts and was late to market. New CEO is chopping the business. Tons of wasted resources on SW architectures that were scrapped at the expense of programs with viable business. Poor management, conviction and execution.

    Advice to Management

Give business' that are critical to the growth of the company a chance to develop. Nurture and fund them. Some of the business' that you have decided to exit will end up being a huge mistake and end up costing the company much more to re-enter than continuing investment would ever had cost.

I have been working at Juniper Networks full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

For the most part, employees at Juniper are very intelligent, competent and committed to doing the right thing. Acquisition of Mist is a very positive move to enable the company to execute on the vision. Strong compensation and benefits and company culture.

    Cons

Like all companies, Juniper has it's challenges. At times, the company is so "engineering led" that it doesn't always do a great job of sales and marketing.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in strategic relationships with key alliance partners.
